Promise Me by The Birthday Massacre

We don't know what time we'll be there
but we won't show up till later
it will all look so much nicer
after all of us arrive

Promise me to pass the time
Dance with me on plastic tears
kiss me We won't feel alone
till morning when we disappear

Though we all want to be noticed
there's no need for competition
Cause there's just no way of knowing
where the camera points tonight

Promise me to pass the time
dance with me on plastic tears
kiss me We won't feel alone
till morning when we disappear

We don't listen to each other
cause we're all too busy talking
we'll tell lies about each other
cause the truth is such a bore
with the threat of dawn approaching
and our interest quickly fading
we will stumble home together
as we did the night before

Promise me to pass the time
dance with me on plastic tears
kiss me. We won't feel alone
till morning when we disappear

Dyspnea

Currently at home. Not in school. Totally sick. I just attended my first subject this morning because of a presentation/activity/energizer/report thing.

For the people who really know me, they'd know what really happened. I'll just share some parts with you guys.

  • Wednesday, November 18: Just at home. Free day. I slept, forgot to wear a jacket or put on a blanket. Air conditioner at home is always high since my stout spoiled-brat sister can't bear the heat in this friggin' country.
  • Thursday, November 19: Got a totally bad cold.
  • Friday, November 20: Dyspnea and tachycardia. Friends start to notice my difficulty in breathing, started taking in some salbutamol.
  • Saturday, November 21: Got hospitalized by 12mn or 1am, not sure. Got a dosage of I.M. corticosteriod as my bronchiodilator. Left the hospital at 4am. Prepared for school. Boyfriend fetched me at home at 8am.
  • Sunday, November 22: Went to the doctor and was able to buy a new laptop. Got more medication.
  • Monday, November 23: Still sick. Tachypnea is observable but not dyspnea. Tachycardia constant since wednesday.
Thanks to all the people who have been helping me out a lot. For not letting me carry my stuff alone, etc. XOXO!!

All Saints Day (November 1). The usual Filipino tradition on this certain day is that most people visit the graves of their departed loved ones whereas abroad, they celebrate Halloween (of course we also celebrate it here, but not as special as in other countries). We visited the cemetery at night time to avoid the extreme heat coming from the sun. I had fun staying there because we get to have a mini family reunion and I had a nice chat with my first cousins, second cousins, even my second cousins-once removed. The elders (my parents, aunties, uncles, etc.) had their quality time too...
